Hush Puppy Directions:
1. Blend together 1 cup of seasoned fish fry, 1 cup cornmeal, 3 tablespoons finely shopped shallops, 2 tablespoons shortening and 1 tablespoon baking powder. 2. Add 1 egg light beaten and enough milk to make a thick batter. 3. Drop mixture by teaspoon or small rolls into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Remove and place on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
